What will you be doing as a Manager, Environment - Market Lead - Hungary/Romania/Turkey 

The core focus of this role is to coordinate the Environment Management in Market plants. To promote a continuous improvement process on environmental management for environmental risk reduction and control. To support sustainability initiatives inside the Market plants.

The job will be located in either Martfu Plant/Budapest or Lehliu Plant/ Bucharest.

This should be completed through the following activities:

Responsibilities: 

• Contributing to the implementation of the Bunge Environment Policy and Environmental Corporate Goals in Hungary, Romania and Turkey.
• Manage and lead cross-functional and international teams
• Establishing and monitoring the Environmental Performance Indicators and tracking them, on a regular basis, inside the Market.
• Coordinating the environmental network in the Market.
• Reviewing periodically the environmental management local systems and environmental KPIs to propose action plans which guarantee continuous improvement in this area of concern.
• Coordinating the implementation of BPS Environmental Pillar requirements, Corporate Environmental Procedures and Tools, such as Environmental Risk Maps, Risk Control Plans, etc.

What you can bring to the role:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, with prior experience in a leading role.
• Very Good English language skills are a must.
• Knowledge of Key financial measures and understanding of interdependence
• Knowledge of key management systems and tools which support gap analysis and performance improvement (kaizen, 5S, root cause analysis (RCA)
• Experience in environmental management system ISO 14.001
• Experience in waste management
• Experience in food industry is desirable
• Experience in technical processes is an advantage (Technical Bachelor)
• Experienced multi-tasking in a constantly changing environment.
• Project management experience (deadlines, budget, scope).
• Experience in environmental risk assessment
• Expertise on environmental management systems and environmental action plans
