Operator Helper

A Day in the Life:

The Operator Helper assists with all operator jobs in Shipping and Receiving.

Position Details:

Monday – Friday, 7am-3pm

Overtime, call-out availability, weekends/holidays, and an on-call rotation are required

Pay rate: $26.01 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

• River and rail loading and unloading  
• Perform minor repairs, lubrication, service mobile equipment, and plant clean up  
• General labor and other duties as assigned  

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-3 years or more of major industrial maintenance experience
• Basic computer and mechanical skills 
• Ability to climb stairs/ladders 
• Strong communication skills 
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and a high level of dedication to safety
• Ability to work primarily in a non-climate-controlled environment over water, heights and confined spaces 

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience in an industrial plant or similar environment
