Sr Process Engineer

Loders Croklaan USA, LLC seeks a full-time Senior Process Engineer in Channahon, Illinois. Responsibilities include performing advanced process analysis, troubleshooting complex production processes, and planning/execution of capital projects at an edible oil processing facility (including refinery, utilities, and packaging); providing support in plant initiatives such as designing, installing, commissioning and development of new processing technologies, troubleshooting existing processes, adhering to company quality and food safety policies, and the promotion of safety culture throughout plant operations.

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field and 5 years of experience as a Process Engineer, Operations Engineer, Plant Engineer or in a related occupation to include 5 years of progressive experience with process/project engineering including packaging, batch processing, regulatory compliance, troubleshooting in manufacturing or edible oils refining environment; and 1 year of experience with refining, bleaching, deodorization and dry condensing processes, and conducting process  optimization assessments to prevent potential production downtime.  Apply online at www.bunge.com.
