Bunge has an exciting opportunity available for a Data Science Intern role for Summer of 2025.  In this role, you will be part of a global team working on challenging, meaningful projects for Bunge Food Solutions.

Overview:
The goal of the summer internship program is to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for both Bunge and the intern. Bunge benefits by solving specific business challenges, exploring new areas, or bringing in new ideas through project, while the intern achieves real life experience of working in a corporate environment as well as gains hands-on experience of solving real business problems. You will be part of the Bunge Food Solutions’ Global Marketing, Innovation and Portfolio team and work with business stakeholders to gain domain expertise and work on business project(s) for review and possible implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Work on specific project(s) addressing business needs.
• Engage with the business stakeholders to understand the business problem to solve and subsequently manage stakeholder expectation.
• Demonstrate self-initiative to reach others to gain domain expertise needed to deliver desired solutions.
• Collaborate with other functions to get the data and other technical supports.
• Create dashboard and reports to communicate the project outcomes.
• Present insights to business stakeholders; effectively summarize and communicate results to the audience.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Graduate or senior year undergraduate student pursuing a STEM degree.
• Strong work ethics. Professional attitude and service orientation- a team player.
• Ability to work at an abstract level and gain consensus.
• Creative & innovative thinking; demonstrating drive to solve problems.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with business stakeholders.
• Quick learner to business needs and translate them into potential analytics solutions.
• Experience with programming; specific experience in R or Python is a plus.
• Experience in visualizations tools to create reports.
• Database experience is a plus.
• Knowledge or prior working knowledge in Agribusiness is a plus.
