A Day In The Life:
This position will drive alignment, consistency, accuracy and standardization in the reporting and analysis of Bunge’s North American (NAM) industrial operations. Provide timely and insightful information to key stakeholders which include industrial management, value chain finance leads and plant management. This position will also work with FP&A, accounting, IT, value chain finance, global industrial operational reporting & analysis and industrial working groups. All in an effort to improve Bunge’s operational performance to be the best in the industry.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Work on NAM’s industrial scope to analyze, develop, consolidate, and streamline performance reporting
• Provide in-depth analysis of NAM’s industrial performance to the NAM VP of Operations and the operations team
• Ensure standard and consistent definition and application of where industrial information are recorded and reported across all operations to ensure data integrity supporting reporting and analysis. Manage resources to analyze and identify key drivers and liaise with NAM senior management and the business units to understand and utilize the data to facilitate continuous improvement
• Develop timely month end analytics to support high quality close for region’s plants
• Work with IT to find the most efficient and effective way to capture data at the source to ensure data integrity and improve efficiency of data reporting
• Provide value-added analysis and insights on key elements of industrial data
• Represent NAM within the global community with respect to reporting standards, approaches, and other benchmarking opportunities
• Assist in building annual business plan budgets and targets. Ensure productivity gains are built into the business plan.
• Train and develop new plant personnel in operational performance metrics and reporting
Key Job Duties:
• Provide monthly/quarterly management reports and analysis to NAM Management covering all the key performance metrics to determine if results are driven by operational efficiencies, volume fluctuations, other conditions
• Manage all aspects of NAM’s industrial information including directing efforts in developing, reporting, and comparing global data in order to support Bunge’s Operational Excellence goals
• Perform regular financial reviews with NAM’s value chain financial leads and be the operational liaison to the financial community
• Work closely with corporate teams to ensure Bunge’s compliance with policies and procedures
• Lead industrial productivity processes for the business plan and establishing incorporation/alignment with business unit budgets
• Work closely with Bunge’s Global Industrial Reporting and Analysis team on reporting, analysis, and standardization of reporting on SAP and Tableau
• Ad hoc tasks
Skills/Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 5+ years in engineering, operations, finance, accounting, business management, or related degree required.
• Agribusiness and food processing industry knowledge and exposure to related operations desired
• Strong problem solving, analytical skills and high attention to details with the ability to take initiative, work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong writing capabilities to clearly and concisely articulate operating results and financial variances
• Strong computer skills, aptitude / proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience and knowledge of SAP, Tableau and One Stream highly desired
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic with excellent interpersonal skills
