Position Title: Senior Manager - Global IT Risk and Security
Position Description: Bunge Management Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager - Global IT Risk and Security to develop and maintain Bunge’s Information Security program to protect the company’s data and assets. Manage risks and vulnerabilities, define security policies and procedures, and promote IT governance and compliance in the region. Liaise with Global IT Risk & Security group and IT teams to manage the implementation of information security controls. Identify, and assess business impact of risks, exploring compensating controls and proposing actions to be taken. Identify threats, protection goals, objectives, and metrics consistent with Information Security program. Provide timely visibility for informed risk treatment decision (acceptance, mitigation, control implementation, transfer). Oversee security technicians, administrators, and vendors who safeguard the company’s assets, intellectual property, and computer systems for the region. Consult with SMEs to determine exposure level for Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), explore mitigating factors, analyze business impact, and determine urgency. Demand global and regional IT Towers (Network, Datacenter, Workplace, Service Desk) and vendors for appropriate mitigation and fix. Understand risk, discuss priority, and support Root-Cause analysis. Partner with other Security Leads and Head of IT Governance to define and review global information security policies and procedures and manage the implementation in the region. Oversee information security audits including compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Nurture and develop strong relationship with internal stakeholders from various corporate and business areas. Identify protection goals, objectives, and metrics consistent with corporate strategic plan while managing the development and implementation of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs). Support end-user training on information security topics. Manage staff, by recruiting, onboarding, training, and providing day-to-day guidance. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on information security to the Global Chief Information Officer, regional IT leadership and business stakeholders. Advise and approve of risk mitigation and definition of Management Action Plan (MAP). Keep up to date with emerging threats, security tools and impact on the business and discuss continuous improvement of Bunge's Information Security Program. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on information security to the Global Chief Information Officer, regional IT leadership and business stakeholders and communicate Information Security Program and goals with business partners. Support business to budget and secure funding for Information Security program. Define, assess, and advise on security controls to mitigate risks identified on Application Risk & Security Assessments for new digital demands (new on-premises applications, cloud-based solutions and/or mobile apps) as well as ensuring effectiveness and consistency. Up to 20% domestic and international travel required for business needs. Remote work is permissible up to 2 times per week following Bunge protocol.
Position Qualifications: This position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field and 8 years of experience serving in an IT Security Management or IT Audit function. Additionally, a qualified applicant must have professional experience with the following: (1) 6 years of experience in the management of IT Risk and Security, specifically by way of assessing business and IT risks, and defining, prioritizing and implementing risk mitigation plans; (2) 6 years of experience in data analysis, through the execution of IT Audits or IT Information Security Assessments, ensuring factual accuracy and risk relevance; (3) 6 years of experience in effectively engaging IT managers and directors within a large multinational corporation (e.g. listed in Fortune 500 or S&P 500) to coordinate global efforts in managing and mitigating IT security risks; (4) 6 years of experience in data gathering from various IT platforms (e.g. Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, and SAP) to compile data from various sources and generate relevant information for appropriate decision-making; and (5) 6 years of experience in managing IT audits or security-related projects in the food and agribusiness industry.
