Overview:
•    This role is responsible for extracting, analyzing and presenting/reporting unique, high‐value information and knowledge from both the market and Bunge’s global enterprise about relevant issues/insights which are likely to influence/impact medium/longer-term S&D positions. Through carefully considered data sourcing (internal and external), analysis and synthesis, this role will create a common set of assumptions and a suite of tools that enhance commercial, risk and strategic decisions of Bunge’s global trading activities.  
•    The role must constantly look to improve data handling through automation as the data pipeline is very large and the role must focus upon high value activities.  The role must also constantly test out the value of the data dashboards/reports being provided to the commercial teams, discontinuing those of little value and developing higher commercial value outputs.  
•    Role requires a highly knowledgeable and experienced business intelligence professional with specific knowledge/understanding product areas at a global level.  The role must have strong data mining, data analysis automation and data handling/presentation skills and experience and a strong understanding of Bunge’s commercial activities and needs regarding external/internal insight and understanding to be of maximum commercial value to them.  Hence, F+ Technical Know-How overall.  The role covers a specific range of product areas, and their derivatives, but at a global level.  
•    Role is required to address short, medium and longer-term S&D and other market intelligence and to provide highly informed and well analyzed reports/dashboards to relevant executive management.  There is a strong requirement to integrate somewhat disparate data sources into a cohesive picture and provide linkages and causal connections wherever possible.  Hence, a level of planning, organizing & integrating/management breadth.  Must develop innovative approaches to gaining the necessary market insight and will, by definition, be speculating on what a particular market might look like in the future.  This speculative analysis will have a direct effect on the business and the relevant P/L strategies.  Hence, a level of 50%PS.  This longer-term focus, but one in which the role will make recommendations, is reflected in a level of E Freedom-to-Act.  This role is seen as having a strong indirect/weak direct (Contributory Plus) impact upon the global GM/EBIT derived from trading and distribution.

Main Accountabilities:
•    Managing the global supply & demand analysis process; with emphasis on the 30 day to 18 month timeframe.
Additional duties include: trade flow analysis, crush margin analysis, market value construct.
•    Managing and developing the team, defining objectives for the team and individuals.
•    Communicate conclusions of the analysis to internal customers (commercial and risk management teams) and selected external customers.
•    Objectively moderate market discussion and challenge house trading view.

Education/Experience:
•    Master’s degree in relevant field 
•    10 or more years of industry experience leading Economic Analysis function
