A Day in the Life:
Implement quality standards, ensure compliance and execution of all stages of the process; Develop and implement strategies and regulations focused on quality assurance. Assess potential risks, ensure compliance, and make recommendations. Assume responsibility for all aspects of process quality assurance (laboratory studies, clinical research, testing, operations, raw materials, production, product term, Tolling Partners)
What You’ll Be Doing:
Manage all Q&A process for Bunge México Nationwide
Highest authority when it comes to food safety.
Be responsible for quality assurance related to the interface between Business and customers.
Be responsible for compliance with food safety policies, quality plans, food defense and regulatory issues for all products produced in all the facilities.
Ensure that controls have been implemented to meet customer requirements related to the products and services we provide.
Lead quality assurance efforts to protect and promote Bunge Standards in terms of product quality and safety.
Provide technical assistance to customers in relation to the proper use and application of the products in the oil portfolio.
Establish the creation of procedures and policies for Bunge including components that ensure the quality and food safety of our products.
Work as a team with Operations Team to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
Report monthly performance indicators and follow-up activities of the Quality, Food Safety, Technical Services and Regulatory Affairs area to the Management.
Integrate the Crisis Management Team and responsible for the management and execution of product recall situations due to Quality and/or Food Safety situations.
Have in-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance discipline, proposing solutions and developing plans in the department
Managing complex Quality & Assurance Task , adapting plans in the department, recommending solutions and best practices
Provide guidance and leadership to the entire Q&A Staff, contributing to the short, medium, and long term, developing staff development plans within the area.
Skills/Experience Requirements:
11 to 14 years of progressive experience.
Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or Chemical Engineering.
Knowledge of USDA and FDA regulations and the standards associated with food manufacturing (desirable).
General understanding of food processing and production.
Fluent English
Use knowledge of Bunge’s business, structure and strategy to develop innovative solutions to improve results or eliminate problems.
