Delphos Industrial Mechanic

Position Summary:

This position is located at the Bunge North America soybean processing plant in Delphos, OH.  Must be safety conscious and willing to work 2nd and 3rd shifts.  Starting pay is $27.39 per hour, full pay rate after meeting skill qualifications and education requirements is $31.91 per hour.  Qualified applicant must be able to work independently following a 90-day probationary period.

Core Functions:

• Repair gearboxes, drive couplings, chain drives, belt drives
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, centrifugal, piston, rotary and other positive displacement pumps
• Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective actions.
• Makes necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality
• Create and work in a safe environment
• Timely completion of tasks and work orders with appropriate documentation according to standard operating procedures, applicable standards, guidelines and policies
• Troubleshoot and repair facility machinery
• Perform preventative predictive maintenance
• Other duties as assigned

Skill/Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years industrial mechanical experience preferred
• Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying temperatures
• Ability to follow policies and procedures
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Willing to work overtime and flexible hours, including holidays and weekends
• Good attendance
