A Day in the Life: 

This role is responsible for safely and efficiently transferring edible oil from railcars and trucks to storage tanks, ensuring adhering to production schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards. This involves coordinating with other team members, monitoring product movement, and maintaining accurate records.

 

Position Details: 

  • Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift Monday-Friday
  • Must be available for overtime and weekend work as needed.
  • Flexible and/or rotating shifts are required to accommodate peak volume demands.
  • $24.95 per hour

 

What You'll be Doing: 

  • Verify railcar/truck load numbers against instructions.
  • Collect samples from trucks and railcars for lab analysis.
  • Operate railroad tank car or truck unloading equipment, including pumps and hoses.
  • Monitor product transfer to and from storage tanks, coordinating with colleagues.
  • Coordinate rail switching logistics with the railroad company.
  • Record operating data such as products and quantities pumped, gauge readings, and operating times, manually or using computers.
  • Perform work at heights utilizing required fall protection equipment.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and complete all tasks safely and effectively.
  • Actively participate in the company’s food safety and quality programs.
  • Commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system; and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to read and understand English with effective verbal communication.
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Availability to work second or third shift.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
