Lead the Future of Dry Bulk Freight Pricing at Bunge - a Global Agribusiness Leading Company

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Freight Pricing Manager to lead our dry bulk freight pricing strategy. This critical role, based in Geneva, offers an outstanding opportunity to craft our freight operations and make a significant contribution to our global trading success.

A Ground-breaking Opportunity:

This is not simply a freight pricing role; it is a chance to define the future of dry bulk freight within our global organization. You will join a highly qualified and collaborative team at a pivotal moment in our growth.

Role Overview:

As the dedicated freight expert for our commodity traders, this role will set you at the core of our commodity trading engine. You will act as the key liaison between Logistics, Agricultural Trading, Chartering, and Operations, developing and implementing sophisticated pricing strategies to optimize our dry bulk freight operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement daily freight grids and handle ad-hoc requests.
  • Analyze complex market dynamics to ensure competitive and profitable pricing.
  • Collaborate with Chartering to align internal and external pricing strategies, using voyage market intelligence to optimize forward pricing.
  • Provide expert market insights and guidance to internal partners.
  • Collaborate with Logistics and Freight Operations to improve vessel profitability, seeing opportunities for cost optimization and revenue improvement. Contribute to strategic fleet optimization and value creation.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners, fostering communication and a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5 to 15 years of dry bulk freight chartering experience, preferably with a freight operator, brokerage, or global trading house.
  • Proven ability to analyze market data (spot/deferred freight dynamics, commodity supply and demand, freight market curves) and translate these insights into accurate freight pricing grids, harmonizing forward pricing with voyage market intelligence in collaboration with Chartering.
  • The ideal candidate is an assertive and outspoken self-starter with excellent interpersonal and social skills. You possess strong ownership and excel at cultivating internal client relationships while providing expert guidance on freight market pricing dynamics, thriving both at working individually and as a teammate.
  • Familiarity with logistics planning tools and ideally IMOS system.

Our Offer to You:

Join us and become part of a dynamic, diverse, and global team, collaborating with colleagues across different regions and cultures. This role presents an outstanding opportunity to participate in reshaping the dry bulk arena within the world's largest dry bulk company. You'll be a key player in a hands-on senior team, working directly with commodity traders and sitting at the heart of Bunge's commodity trading engine. This high-impact role offers significant growth potential within a company that values innovation, sustainability, and excellence.

  • Competitive Compensation and Benefits: A competitive salary, bonus, and benefits package.
  • Dynamic and Supportive Environment: A collaborative and encouraging work environment that fosters teamwork, innovation, and personal growth.
  • Professional Development: ongoing development opportunities to enhance your skills and advance your career.
