Junior Trader- Czech Republic (based in Usti or available to commute)

Expected from candidate: We are seeking a determined and ambitious Junior Trader who wants to join our team and learn the art of trading agricultural commodities. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with minimal work experience who has a strong interest in markets, data analysis, and trading. You will work closely with experienced Traders and actively participate in daily trading operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trading Team Support: Assist senior Traders with daily trading activities and support.
• Market Analysis: Collect and analyze relevant data and information on agricultural markets (demand, supply, price developments, weather, geopolitical factors).
• Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations on market developments and trading positions.
• Admin: files administration, maintenance of trading excels tools, freight matrix.
• Data Management: Enter data into internal systems and perform data verification.
• Logistics Coordination: Communicate with the logistics and operations department to ensure smooth delivery processes.
• Research: Identify new trading opportunities and market trends.
• Communication: Actively communicate with internal teams (logistics, finance, risk management).

Requirements:

• University degree (economics, finance, business, logistics, or a related field)
• Interest in markets, trading, or commodities
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to work with data
• Solid Excel skills (pivot tables, functions)
• Advanced English and Czech language skills (German is a plus)
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
• A team player who is also comfortable working independently
