Role Overview

The Junior Commercial Trader supports the local trading desk through disciplined execution, commercial analysis, and coordination with internal support functions. The role offers structured exposure to physical trading operations and international commodity flows.

Key Responsibilities

• Support physical trading activities across pulses, grains, and related products
• Assist in contract execution, sales tracking, and position monitoring
• Contribute to local supply‑and‑demand analysis and market reporting
• Coordinate daily with Finance on:
• P&L and MTM reporting
• Cash position follow‑up
• Customer exposure monitoring
• Support FX risk monitoring in line with treasury guidelines
• Maintain accurate reporting and timely communication with internal stakeholders and Head Office

Experience & Profile

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in trading support, commercial, finance, or supply‑chain roles
• Comfortable working in a structured, corporate trading environment
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• Good command of English and Arabic
• Proficient in Excel and standard reporting tools
• Demonstrates discipline, reliability, and commercial awareness in daily execution
