The Supply Chain Planning Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and implementing strategic production and supply chain plans that ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing operations. This role focuses on optimizing production schedules, managing inventory, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring the timely delivery of products while maintaining quality standards and aligning with the company's strategic goals.

Main Accountabilities:

 

  • Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop, implement, and oversee master production schedules (MPS), material requirements planning (MRP), and detailed production plans to meet demand forecasts, optimize resource utilization, and minimize lead times.
  • Inventory Management: Lead the strategic management of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory levels to balance service levels with cost efficiency, utilizing forecasting and inventory control techniques.
  • Capacity Planning: Conduct capacity analysis and planning to ensure manufacturing resources (equipment, labor, facilities) are sufficient to meet current and future production demands.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate closely with procurement, logistics, sales, and operations departments to ensure a seamless flow of materials and information across the supply chain, resolving bottlenecks and optimizing processes.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, on-time delivery, inventory turns, and waste reduction. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the planning function.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage the planning team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • System & Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in planning systems (e.g., ERP, APS) and processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness.

 

 

Education & Experience:

 

  • Education: A Bachelor's  or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or similar
  • Experience: At least 5 years of progressive experience in production planning, supply chain management, or operations within a manufacturing environment,
  • Good English ( min B2 level)
  • Fluent/Native Polish (C1)
