Junior Internal Control & SOX Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Analysis of processes and risks related to them, including segregation of duties (SOD under controls and under SAP roles),
• Performance of management testing of SOX controls effectiveness over Bunge Poland’s processes, standardizing testing methods, communicating the testing results, implementing improvements and issue/deficiency remediation,
• Carrying out reviews of ITGC systems for SOX/Internal Controls (user access review – UAR), coordinating ITGC audits for SOX and internal controls purpose for group systems,
• Maintaining continuous communication with SOX controllers, cross-functional teams and stakeholders, internal and external auditors, process and control owners, global and local IT service desks, and employees requesting SOX guidance (business support),
• Participating in collaboration with auditors and management during the implementation of Group recommendations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (preferred: controlling, economy, finance, accounting, internal/finance audits; mathematics),
• 2-3 years of professional experience on similar positions,
• English and Polish skills,
• Knowledge of internal control/audit/SOX standards,
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Power Point, Excel,
• Analytical thinking skills, proactivity, time management skills.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of accounting standards, including US GAAP and IFRS,
• Knowledge of SAP systems.
