Construction Site Project Manager (Martfű)

Bunge is developing a new biomass boiler facility in Martfű, Hungary, and we are looking for an experienced Construction Site Project Manager to oversee the construction and commissioning phase of the project on a full-time basis. This is a key leadership position involving the supervision of all aspects of the construction phase—from contractor coordination to quality control.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control project execution.
• Adhere to the project budget and schedule.
• Promote a culture of safety on the construction site.
• Collaborate with the EPCM company and the contractors.
• Coordinate on-site personnel and subcontractors.
• Enforce quality assurance protocols.
• Identify and manage the risks.
• Prepare regular progress reports for the General Project Manager and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (other engineering disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering are also acceptable).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or project management, preferably in energy or industrial projects.
• Proficiency in project/scheduling software (MS Project).
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Hungarian and English (REQUIRED).
• Strong leadership skills.
• PMP or equivalent certification, as well as relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 30), are advantageous.
