We are now looking for a committed, curious and forward‑thinking Indirect (Senior) Buyer to strengthen our Procurement team.

Your impact in this role

As an Indirect (Senior) Buyer, you will play a key role in ensuring that our plants and business functions have the goods and services they need — at the right quality, cost and timing.
Your focus will be on indirect spend categories, especially industrial and plant‑related goods and services, managing approx. 20K-1M USD procurement responsibility.

You will be based in our Budapest office, with regular presence in our Martfű plant (several days per week depending on business needs).

What you will be responsible for

• Leading RFQ processes in line with Bunge’s Purchasing Policy and supporting internal stakeholders across functions.
• Preparing price comparisons, analyzing offers, and making clear, professional purchasing recommendations.
• Working with internal customers to refine business requirements when RFQ outcomes need improvement.
• Coordinating contract alignment with internal partners, suppliers and the legal team, ensuring accuracy and full compliance.
• Analyzing product/service portfolios and supplier bases to identify cost‑savings, synergies, consolidation opportunities and new supplier options.
• Applying and managing the Bunge 7 Step Strategic Sourcing Methodology, ensuring alignment with local and global procurement guidelines.

What you bring

We value both expertise and mindset. You will thrive in this role if you bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Finance (minimum) or similar.
• At least 5 years of experience in indirect purchasing.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Experience with SAP and e-tools.
• Curiosity, ownership, and the ability to build trustful relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
