Production Manager

Role Purpose Statement

1. To manage the production of BLE manufacturing process inclusive high /low solvent, effluent, Thermal, Lipico EIE & hydrogeneration plants, ensuring efficiency, quality and adherence to budgets and deadlines.
2. To lead and coach engineers to continue strike for improvement and BPS implementation

Main Accountabilities

1. Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resource allocation.
2. Team Management: Supervise and lead production staff, ensuring effective communication and teamwork to achieve production goals.
3. Quality Control: Monitor product quality and safety standards, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
4. Safety: Conduct tools box talks and identify any gaps that’s need to be improved. Consistently engaged with team to ensure safety of workplace.
5. Budget Management: Oversee production budgets, ensuring all activities are cost-effective and within financial constraints.
6. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs. Ensure all RCA was conducted effectively and action plans implemented accordingly.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as engineering, procurement, and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and address any production-related issues.

Requirement

1. Minimum education level - degree in Engineering courses
2. Able to write and communicate in English and Malay
3. People management skills
4. Experience in production operation
5. Root Cause Analysis
6. Kaizen and 5S
7. Servant leadership skills
