Senior Supervisor- Texturising

Job Summary:

The packing/ blending snr Supervisor shall oversee the day-to-day operations of the packing, blending and drumming section. This role ensures that products are packed efficiently, safely and in accordance with quality standards and customer requirements; ensure waste from packing/ blending/ drumming is properly segregated and cleared.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise daily operations of the packing plant and blending activities.
2. Able to drive a forklift and holds a critical and multifaceted role.
3. Ensure all the waste generated was fully segregated and clear on time.
4. Plan and coordinate with packing supervisors on drumming packing schedule.
5. Plan with packing engineer / manager for frame and unframe IBC to meet customer requirement and shipment.
6. Comply with HACCP,GMP, HALAL and others food safety regulations.
7. Monitor packing schedules and ensure all raw materials needed are available and prepared accordingly.
8. Train the new staff in packing/ blending procedures, equipment operation and safety protocols.
9. Conduct regular performance evaluation and provide feedback.
10. Coordinate with maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance.
11. Maintain records of machine breakdowns and repairs.
12. Communicate material shortages to Engineer or HOD.
13. Enforce company safety policies and ensure use of PPE by all staff
14. Report any accident or unsafe condition promptly.
15. Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the packing/ blending area.
16. Maintain accuracy and realtime daily production and shift report
17. Participate in audits and implement corrective actions when required.
