Boiler Operator-2nd Class

Business Title: Boiler Operator- 2nd Class
Reporting to: Assistant Manager- Power Plant
    
    
    
Role Purpose Statement: Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the Boiler by performing field activities and maintaining optimal working conditions.

    
    
    
Main Accountabilities:    
1.    Boiler Operation & Monitoring
o    Check husk feeding system regularly and report to 1st Class Boiler Attendant.
o    Ensure proper ash conveying and report any issues.
o    Conduct routine checks on all equipment to confirm satisfactory performance.
o    Monitor Boiler/Thermopac-TFH bed conditions and report abnormalities.
2.    Maintenance & Cleaning
o    Remove clinker, stones, and brick pieces by draining boiler bed material as required.
o    Perform P.A. line cleaning in coordination with 1st Class Boiler Attendant and firemen.
o    Verify smooth functioning of ESP, Bag Filters, and Trima Cyclones for ash conveying.
o    Feed Boiler/TFH bed material to maintain required bed height.
3.    System Observation & Housekeeping
o    Inspect husk feeding system to prevent choking and report issues promptly.
o    Maintain cleanliness of Boiler House and surrounding areas daily.
    
    
    
Knowledge and Skills:
•    Skills: Ability to read and write in Hindi, English, and Punjabi.

Education & Experience
•    Education: 10th / 10+2 or ITI 2nd Class Boiler Attendant Certificate.
•    Experience: 3–5 years as Boiler/TFH Fireman or equivalent role.
