Technician- Production

Business Title: Technician- Production
Reporting to: AM- Production
    
    
    
Role Purpose Statement: Responsible for performing various tasks to operate, monitor, troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, safety, food safety, chemical safety and GMP etc.

    
Main Accountabilities:
•    Operate churn cum blending of VP refinery & RO refinery in accordance with established procedure and guidelines.
•    Operate short mix, bleacher, autoclave, deo, Fractionation, and acid oil plant in accordance with established procedure and guidelines.
•    Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and Operations.
•    Monitor plant parameters to ensure quality production and reduce unplanned stoppages and maintain log-books of the same.
•    Responsible for upkeeping & cleanliness of Churn and blending section and to maintain 5S of surrounding areas.
•    Supervision/monitoring of work of contractual manpower deployed in the churn and blending & to guide them as and when required.
•    Responsible for maintaining quality parameters and avoid/control wastage within standards provided.
•    To actively participate in workshops, trainings organized from time to time and demonstrate the learnings at shopfloor."

•Knowledge to operate, maintain (Maintenance) & trouble shooting of refinery operations

Education & Experience:
•    ITI in Mechanical or Electrical 
•    Five years’ experience in edible oil or FMCG Manufacturing Industry.
