Company: Bunge

As a Commercial Manager - Oil Trading in Bunge Italia, you will be working in the fast moving market of crude vegetable oils sales. In this role you will be heading a team of 2, and together you are at the forefront to optimize profitability of the Europe Sun (oil) Value Chain strategy. You will organize, coordinate and control the commercial Oil activities.

After the raw oil (such as sunflower, peanut and corn) is purchased, transported to, and refined in our plant in Ravenna, you and your team are directly responsible for sales of the (bulk) refined oil. You are managing the entire process, are well aware of the demand in the market and therefor know how to position your business. This makes you an important player in setting the local business strategy to be planned and implemented in the country. On a day to day basis you identify trading opportunities, develop and maintain relationships with strategic customers and you’ll cooperate internally and externally to achieve trading budget and targets. Typically you coordinate interaction between your own department, the bottling department, the operations team and the execution, logistics and finance teams to ensure that commitments to our customers are followed upon properly.

What do we expect from you as Commercial Manager - Oil Trading Italy?
You are fast paced, enjoy to be on top of things and have an untamable optimistic and organized personality. Negotiating is a second nature to you, which combines well with your proactive, achievement and solution oriented mindset. • A University degree (Bachelor or Master) or Equivalent
  • Around 5 years of experience in a commercial role in preferably a commodities trading environment
  • Some management / leadership experience
