Production Operator

A Day in The Life: The Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient production operations of the department on their shift.  This position reports to the Production Manager

Position Details: 

• Hourly Rate: $31.38 per hour 
• Work Schedule: This position operates on a 12-hour continental shift pattern, which involves rotating between day and night shifts every two weeks.

What You'll be Doing: 

• Unload all incoming raw material from tankers
• Weigh in and out tankers and containers    
• Unload containers & railcars        
• Load product tankers and LTL trucks    
• Receive all in process materials    
• Operate refinery, bleacher, deodorizer    
• Formulate products in crude tanks    
• Clean refinery machines, interceptor, cooling towers, vacuum lines
• Do all necessary in process lab tests    
• Inspect tankers when Lab Techs not available
• Sampling tankers, containers, storage tanks, deodorizing vessel, and bleaching vessel.
• Need to upkeep all Health and Safety Programs, GMP’s, HAACP, SOP’s and other procedures
• Plant sanitation duties        
• Forklift operator  

Requirements: 

• Candidates will have successfully completed Grade 12
• Experience in plant operations will be given preference
• Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines
• Commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system; and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
