Position Details:
The schedule for this role is 12 hour continental shift (2 weeks days & 2 weeks nights)
The starting hourly rate is $31.38/hr

A Day in Life:
The Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient production operations of the department on their shift. This position reports to the Production Manager.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Unload all incoming raw material from tankers
- Weigh in and out tankers and containers
- Unload containers & railcars
- Load product tankers and LTL trucks
- Receive all in process materials
- Operate refinery, bleacher, deodorizer
- Formulate products in crude tanks
- Clean refinery machines, interceptor, cooling towers, vacuum line
- Do all necessary in process lab tests
- Inspect tankers when Lab Techs not available
- Sampling tankers, containers, storage tanks, deodorizing vessel, and bleaching vessel.
- Need to upkeep all Health and Safety Programs, GMP’s, HAACP, SOP’s and other procedures
- Plant sanitation duties
- Forklift operator
Skills/Experience Requirements:
- Candidates will have successfully completed Grade 12
- Experience in plant operations will be given preference
- Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines
Commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system; and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
