Junior Accountant – Bunge (Riyadh)

Bunge is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing finance team in Riyadh. This junior role is key in supporting the financial health of our company by ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions in line with company policies, local regulations, and accounting standards in Saudi Arabia.

You will be involved in day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, inventory accounting, and tax reporting (VAT & WHT). The role also includes supporting month-end closing and financial reporting using ERP systems such as SAP.

The Role

As a Junior Accountant, you will support daily accounting activities and ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded. You will work closely with the finance team in Riyadh and act as a key support to the Financial Controller.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing customer and vendor invoices (AP/AR)
• Supporting bank reconciliations and cash transactions
• Assisting with inventory accounting and related postings
• Booking prepaid expenses and supporting amortization schedules
• Assisting with intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Maintaining fixed asset records and supporting depreciation processes
• Supporting general ledger postings, including SG&A expenses
• Assisting with VAT and WHT reporting in line with Saudi regulations
• Supporting month-end closing activities and balance sheet reconciliations

Is This You?

We are looking for a junior profile, open to candidates with some initial experience (typically 2–5 years). Your mindset, skills, and willingness to learn are more important than years of experience.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Strong Excel skills (essential), including working with and analyzing data
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
• Good conversational Arabic (required for stakeholder and customer interaction)
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP is a plus
• Basic knowledge of taxation in Saudi Arabia (VAT & WHT) is strongly preferred
