Your Role in Our Network (Rotterdam – full-time) As a Junior Biomass Trader within our Commercial team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing Bunge's biomass trading strategy. Reporting to the Sr Director Carbon EU and Biomass Trading, you will be integral to our trading efforts, approaching your responsibilities with a strong entrepreneurial drive. This versatile position places you at the forefront of a growing, global business, offering significant scope for personal initiative and the exploration of new products and markets.

How You'll Contribute and Grow (Key Responsibilities):
- Pioneer Market Opportunities: Proactively identify and pursue new opportunities for biomass trading expansion, encompassing both asset-related ventures and opportunistic trading across global markets.
- Develop Trading Strategies: Gather, analyze, and consolidate critical biomass market information to effectively develop and implement robust, data-driven trading strategies.
- Execute & Generate P&L: Execute short-term and long-term deals to generate positive P&L, ensuring strategic alignment with our field offices and contributing directly to business growth.
- Cultivate Commercial Relationships: Build and sustain strong, lasting commercial relationships with end-users, brokers, and producers globally, enhancing Bunge's market position.
- Expand Portfolio: Contribute to the development and expansion of our biomass product offerings and market outlets, diversifying our trading portfolio.
What You'll Bring to Our Team:

You possess strong analytical skills for complex problem-solving, complemented by a judicious risk appetite and sharp commercial insight.
- Exceptional Communication & Relationship Building: As a highly communicative individual, you effectively interact with diverse internal and external stakeholders, adeptly building strong commercial relationships while demonstrating a robust understanding of cultural differences.
- Resilience & Adaptability: You exhibit strong resilience and a results-oriented approach, understanding the dynamic nature of the trading world and prepared to operate beyond standard office hours when necessary.
- Educational Background & Relevant Experience: A university degree (Bachelor or Master) or equivalent level of thinking and working, preferably in Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Business Studies. While experience in commodity trading, operations, or trade execution is highly beneficial, we also welcome candidates directly from university who demonstrate the required aptitude and entrepreneurial drive. Affinity for fields like biofuels, biomethane, energy, carbon, or agriculture is a strong advantage.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent written and verbal English is essential.
