Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer professional to join the Risk and Strategy team in the Business Technology (BT) organization. The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for optimizing and streamlining IT processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and enhancing overall Information Technology and Cybersecurity operational excellence within our organization.  This role will partner closely with other Governance, Risk and Compliance staff and with teams throughout the BT organization. Their role reports to the director of Risk and Strategy in the BT organization.

Essential Functions:

Main Accountabilities 

• Develop, implement, improve, and maintain IT controls, processes and procedures aligned with applicable best practices (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, NIST CSF, Agile).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities to fulfill complex business objectives and to implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor and perform regular assessments to identify opportunities to enhance process and control, as well as recommend necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency, reliability, and resilience.
• Provide guidance and support to stakeholders and partner functions regarding the effective implementation and adherence to applicable industry best practices (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, NIST CSF, Agile), ensuring a consistent and standardized approach to improving and maturing IT process and control performance.
• Recommend and support the establishment of effective management information, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and Key risk indicators (KRIs).
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, vendors, and internal partner functions to support compliance with Information Technology and Cybersecurity related regulatory requirements.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in IT process engineering and applicable industry best practices and integrate relevant knowledge into the organization's processes and procedures.

Knowledge and Technical Competencies:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, CISM, ITIL) are preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

Education/Experience 

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or applicable experience is preferred.
• 6-10 years of applicable experience in IT/Cybersecurity related internal control design, process engineering, internal audit, or related experience. 
• Proven experience working in regulated environments with internal and external stakeholders with evidentiary requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex IT and cybersecurity issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
