Overview
We are looking for an Architect to join the DevOps team in the Business Technology (BT) organization. The DevOps Architect role is a professional who can offer structured solutions that suit the best through various operational, technical, and management standards. Can generate a well-planned solution by checking the environment of a large system and choosing an application structure that can work through the challenges in that system. A DevOps architect is expected to handle all issues by applying strategies that are at par with the best practices of DevOps. This role works with developers, devops/cloud engineers, and app teams facilitating operations, development, and testing functions by continuously automating and streamlining the system integration and deployment processes.
Essential Functions
- Designing the entire DevOps and SRE architecture with integration and automation in Google/AWS clouds.
- Hands-on coding, deploying, and supporting large scale, serverless architectures
- Designing and developing automation when the opportunity arises, designing and building DevOps CI/CD pipelines, source code repositories. code review and maintenance of new versions of applications in the cloud hosting environment.
- Designing and developing enhancements to applications when identified by the creation of new components.
- Implement and deploy Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), prepare one standard for the whole company.
- Designing and deploying cloud security requirements
- Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, diagrams, and operational guidelines.
- Prepare and present technical presentations and system process documentation.
- Guide the design and execution of enterprise applications, implement best practices and market standards for cloud services.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud infrastructure, applications, and services to meet performance and scalability requirements.
- Staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud computing to continuously improve the organization’s cloud capabilities.
- Collaboration with stakeholders to define cloud adoption strategies, migration plans, and cloud-native application designs.
- Engagement in projects delivery in agile environment. "
- Use knowledge of Bunge’s business, structure and strategy to develop innovative solutions to improve results or eliminate problems.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology related areas
- Minimum 8 years of experience in complex cloud solutions environments
- Experience with key cloud services such as Compute, Storage, Network, Big Data, Data Science and API Management.
- Knowledge of designing and building fully automated DevOps CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo, Jenkins, Atlassian stuck)
- Ability to define Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines using JSON or YAML and understand designing incremental promotion across environments
- Strong understanding of Python/Go and Bash/PowerShell scripting, Chef/Puppet/Ansible.
- Experience writing scripts to automate mundane tasks
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix + Windows
- Very good understanding of security in cloud principles
- Database awareness: NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB), Relational (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) – optional
- Experience in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) concepts and implementation with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience implementing Policy-as-Code and event driven security in cloud environments
- A working understanding of enterprise networking concepts like CIDR
- Google or AWS Professional Cloud Architect or any Google/AWS Professional Engineer certification (or at the very least working towards one in the very near future.
- Good to have experience with technologies such as React, Java script, REST APIs
- Experience in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) concepts and implementation with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience implementing Policy-as-Code and event driven security in cloud environments
- Code, deploy, and support large scale enterprise-grade architecture
- Experience designing, configuring, and deploying applications
- Understanding of complex applications, micro-services, and serverless use cases
- Experience with Kubernetes in cloud or on-premise
- Proficiency in any coding language relevant to the job.
- Very good knowledge of English
