Overview
The Director of Identity and Access Management provides leadership and direction to multiple teams of security professionals and engineers responsible for Bunge's global Identity and Access Management (IAM) program. This role requires a deep understanding of IAM principles, technologies, and best practices, as well as the ability to develop and execute a comprehensive IAM strategy aligned with Bunge's business objectives and security requirements. The Director is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and operation of IAM systems and processes, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IAM function. This role contributes to strategic change across functions and has a mid- to long-term impact on Bunge's overall security posture.
Essential Functions
- Lead and develop a global team of IAM professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IAM strategy aligned with Bunge's business objectives and security requirements, encompassing identity governance, access control, privileged access management, and directory services.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and operation of IAM systems and processes, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the IAM budget and resources, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT, business units, and external vendors, to ensure effective IAM service delivery.
- Stay abreast of emerging IAM technologies and trends, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to enhance Bunge's security posture.
- Develop and maintain IAM policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring consistency and clarity across the organization.
- Provide regular reporting and metrics on IAM performance, identifying areas for improvement and risk mitigation.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required (Master's or MBA preferred)
- 15+ years of experience in IT, with at least 8-10 years focused on Identity and Access Management.
- Deep understanding of IAM principles, technologies, and best practices
- Experience with leading IAM solutions
- Knowledge of security standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leads and motivates a global team of IAM professionals.
- Communicates IAM concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Builds consensus among stakeholders and drives organizational change.
- Leads large projects and initiatives, directing multiple teams (managers, professionals, and support staff).
- Develops talent optimization plans for the IAM area.
