Overview:

The Information Security Manager EMEA plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the security and compliance of Bunge's information technology (IT) systems within the EMEA region. Responsibilities include overseeing regional cybersecurity operations, managing a team of security professionals, and collaborating with global and regional stakeholders to uphold Bunge's cybersecurity standards and mitigate risks effectively.


Main Accountabilities:

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of robust security controls aligned with Bunge's global cybersecurity policies and standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive regional security assessments and risk analyses, proactively identifying and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and execute regional cybersecurity strategies and initiatives, aligning with global cybersecurity objectives and addressing region-specific challenges.
  • Manage security incidents within the region, coordinating investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery efforts while ensuring timely and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Undirect leadership and management of a team of cybersecurity professionals within the assigned region, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with regional IT teams to ensure the secure configuration and operation of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Promote cybersecurity awareness and provide training to employees within the region, fostering a culture of security consciousness.
  • Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities pertinent to the region and adapt security strategies accordingly.
  • Develop and manage the regional cybersecurity budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Report on regional cybersecurity posture, key metrics, and performance indicators to IT leadership.

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Typically a Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field.
  • 6+ years of increasing leadership roles in Cybersecurity, with proven track record of implementing and managing cybersecurity programs (SOC, GRC, IAM, Risk & Compliance, others).
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing cybersecurity teams.
  • Industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Strong understanding of risk management methodologies and security technologies.
  • Experience in leading and managing cybersecurity teams, fostering collaboration and professional development.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
