Overview: 

The Integration Platform Engineer will demonstrate a high level of professionalism, prioritizing platform stability, scalability, security, and operational excellence for our integration environment. As a key member of the Business Technology, Integration Platforms team, the Integration Platform Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise integrations while contributing to the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of our integration platforms.

The role combines platform engineering, integration development, and operational support responsibilities across Bunge's integration landscape. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining integrations, managing platform services and infrastructure, implementing automation and CI/CD capabilities, and supporting the ongoing operation and enhancement of existing integrations. Experience with enterprise integration platforms such as MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, SAP BTP Integration Suite, or similar technologies is highly desirable. This role also provides crucial support for integration platforms and services, which may include on-call or guard duty responsibilities.

Essential Functions:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise integrations, APIs, and integration services supporting key business processes.
• Build and maintain infrastructure and supporting services for Mulesoft Anypoint Platform and SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, testing, monitoring, and management of integrations.
  
• Ensure platform stability, performance, security, and compliance.

• Support production integrations through monitoring, incident resolution, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities
  
  

• Define and implement best practices and guidelines for integration development.

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver integration initiatives.

• Provide technical support and guidance to Integration Engineers.
• Drive platform infrastructure automation and optimization.
• Manage platform resources and services.
• Monitor platform health and performance.
• Evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance the integration platform.
• Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.

Knowledge and Technical Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in integration engineering, software engineering, platform engineering, middleware technologies, or a related role.
• Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and/or SAP BTP Integration Suite is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, messaging concepts, and integration best practices
  
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Solid understanding of platform and application security best.
• Experience with troubleshooting, monitoring, performance tuning, and operational support of enterprise applications and integrations. Experience with one or more enterprise integration technologies, such as MuleSoft, SAP Integration Suite, Boomi, Azure Integration Services, Informatica, or similar platforms.
• Beneficial skills include API management, event-driven architecture, data modeling, database technologies, and relevant integration platform certifications.
