Purpose of the role:
In this role you are responsible for all HR activities, being actively involved in employee relations, majority working in the Barcelona Hub Office. In addition to that, you will be expected to ensure the healthy delivery and good governance of the HR operations, particularly in Barcelona and Madrid Office. While providing quality and satisfactory solutions for all HR management needs, you will be expected to lead as well some of the process improvement projects, in alignment with Bunge’s global and regional HR strategy.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Being the first point of contact for the employees in the defined segment/function/site and responding effectively to the employee grievances/needs by making use of the means of HR Business Services, CoEs and HR BPs network.
- Supporting the budgeting process in terms of assessing the right of labor cost and forecasting the department expenditures in line with the organizational needs.
- Overviewing the performance management process based on the necessities of the organization to achieve the desired performance culture, ensuring that performance evaluation process steps are followed on a timely basis as well as executed with high quality.
- Considering the requirements of the market; competitive environment, employees’ career development, and the annual benchmark changes, advising the most appropriate compensation management strategies.
- Following up on the legal regulations and requirements to ensure proper implementation and compliance in the workplace
- Partnering with the legal function in resolving labor-related situations with employees that require legal action.
- Acting as a partner to departments' leaders & managers on recruitment and orientation/adaptation, helping to determine workforce needs, selecting the most suitable resources in the organization based on the company culture, talent management plans and competency set.
- Constantly checking on the employee engagement levels in the segments/functions/site being responsible for. Creating employee engagement improvement action plans and implementing these together with department managers' sponsorships. Planning & guiding employer branding creation processes based on the requirements of the market.
- Managing owned HR processes based on adequate HR KPIs. Making HR decisions by using KPI results, supporting a data-driven and analytical HR management approach.
- Supervising the consolidation of the essential payroll data on a monthly basis and ensuring that respective controls are in place, while the process is being completed smoothly in line with the process deadlines.
- As the representative of the Human Resources Team, give maximum support to all Workplace Safety policies that will be implemented throughout the organization by considering Workplace Safety as the top priority. Participating in the development of global and regional HR initiatives and leading the implementation at the country level

Skills & experience:
Our HR Business Partner comes with at least 10-15 years of relevant experience in a similar position at an international company. A legal degree will be a plus. You will be expected to have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English. Being able to communicate in another European Language is a plus.
Being able to interact with several HR Support Functions effectively across the globe. Proven track record as an HR Generalist preferably at a Multinational Company environment. Maturity to act comfortably across all career levels in an organization with a complex matrix structure. Being comfortable with responding to the varying needs of the organization, in terms of both on ensuring a solid statutory governance in Western Europe and on implementing the core HR processes. Change management experience.
