Overview: The person in this role demonstrates a high level of professionalism, prioritizing the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of Bunge’s SAP systems through robust security measures. Responsibilities include managing significant operational plans and projects related to SAP security and related SOX/SOD principles, leading initiatives with considerable influence, and addressing complex security issues impacting various teams. This role requires leveraging deep knowledge of Bunge’s business, structure, and strategy to develop innovative security solutions, build strong partnerships, and effectively influence stakeholders to secure commitment. You will drive results through high standards, a focus on key priorities, and by preparing others for change within the SAP security landscape. You will be recognized as an expert in SAP security with deep SOX/SOD knowledge within the organization.

 

 

Main Accountabilities:

 

  • Manage operational plans and lead large projects/processes focused on enhancing global SAP security, operating with limited oversight.
  • Lead and participate with comparable influence in significant SAP security initiatives, ensuring comprehensive protection of critical business data.
  • Contribute to short to mid-term (1-3 years) talent optimization plans within the SAP security domain to support strategic execution.
  • Take accountability for addressing complex security issues with impact beyond the immediate team, drawing upon a deep knowledge of related disciplines mainly focusing on SOX/SOD and internal controls.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans within the department to advance SAP security posture and compliance.
  • Serve as a recognized expert in SAP security, providing authoritative guidance and solutions across the organization.
  • Apply acquired expertise to analyze and solve complex SAP security problems without clear precedent, identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Anticipate internal and/or external business challenges and regulatory issues related to SAP security, recommending proactive improvements to processes, products, or services.

 

Education/Experience:

 

  • Deep expertise in SAP security architecture, role design, authorization concepts, and GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) solutions.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices for various SAP modules (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, SolMan).
  • Proficiency in identity and access management (IAM) within the SAP ecosystem.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive security assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Expert knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of addressing complex, multi-dimensional security issues.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to build partnerships and ensure security adoption across the organization.
  • Ability to anticipate internal and/or external business challenges and regulatory issues, recommending innovative solutions
  • A Bachelor's degree (Master's may be required or preferred) with 11 - 14 years of position-related functional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
