Senior User Experience Designer

Overview:

We are looking for a Senior User Experience Designer with strong leadership capabilities and deep user-centered design expertise. You will lead UX workstreams in complex, high-impact projects, mentor junior designers, and act as a bridge between user needs and business goals. This role demands a high level of ownership, communication skills, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on design execution.

Essential Functions:

• Lead discovery activities, user research, and UX strategy formulation in relation to products
• Design and deliver wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and interaction models
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to align user needs and business objectives
• Drive continuous user testing, validation, and iteration based on insights
• Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and other UX/UI designers
• Actively contribute to and help evolve the Bunge Design System for the UX perspective
• Promote UX best practices across the organization and advocate for the user
• Guide design documentation, knowledge sharing, and governance processe

Education/Experience:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Psychology, or equivalent will be a plus.
• 6+ years of experience in UX roles with proven leadership in design execution or product building
• Portfolio that demonstrates complex UX challenges and system thinking
• Experience working with global teams and digital products at scale
• Certification in UX (e.g., NN/g, HFI) is a plus
• Expertise in end-to-end UX process (discovery through delivery)
• Strong skills in Figma and research tools (e.g. Maze, Optimal Workshop, Hotjar)
• Data-driven mindset; comfortable working with both qualitative and quantitative research
• Advanced understanding of accessibility, responsive design, and usability principles
• Experience with agile/scrum delivery models and design systems
