Overview
The Director, Operational Technology Security prioritizes the stability, efficiency, and security of Bunge's operational technology (OT) infrastructure. Responsibilities include managing a team of OT professionals, overseeing OT systems and processes, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with business and security objectives.  Make decisions aligned to Bunge’s global strategy, business needs and financial goals and explore new perspectives by driving innovation. Cultivate strong relationships and networks, effectively influence others, and develop talent to excel in their current and future roles. Develop data driven strategies aligned with Bunge’s priorities, energize others to action through clear and compelling communication. 


Essential Functions

  • Manage and lead a team of OT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities. 
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of OT systems, including industrial control systems, SCADA systems, and related infrastructure. 
  • Implement and maintain OT security measures to protect critical infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities. 
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure alignment between OT systems and overall business objectives. 
  • Develop and implement OT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with industry regulations. 
  • Oversee incident response and recovery efforts related to OT systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity. 
  • Stay current on emerging OT technologies and security trends, evaluating and recommending solutions to enhance OT infrastructure and security posture. 
  • Manage OT project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required. 
  • 10+ years of experience in OT operations or a related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience in managing and leading technical teams. 
  • Industry-recognized OT security certifications (e.g., GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert) are highly desirable. 
  • Deep understanding of industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA systems, and other OT technologies. 
  • Strong knowledge of OT security best practices and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISA/IEC 62443). 
  • Experience with OT network design, implementation, and management. 
  • Familiarity with IT/OT convergence and related security considerations. 
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
