Overview:
As a Specialist Business Technology Partner, you will lead and support all aspects of Business Project, Program and Portfolio activity, including collaboration and support across all IT and business segments. You will work with internal clients (ie business managers, project managers, IT managers and business consultants, etc.) to complete the project/program.
Management/ Leadership:
Manages operational plans, large projects and/or processes with limited oversight from manager. Leads and/or participates with comparable influence in large projects/initiatives; AND/OR provides leadership to professionals and support. Contributes to short to mid term (1-3 years) talent optimization plans to execute on strategies in job area.
Lead digital projects, connecting business demand/strategy with the delivery of the value (project). Will be responsible to lead project teams to the same goal, taking care of deliveries, resources allocated, support managers on daily basis with people and project management.
Accountability:
• Participate in meetings with (internal) customers, assist in structuring and designing solutions based on needs and problems to be solved
• Collaborate with clients to identify and define scope, requirements and objectives;
• Acting as a focal point for digital projects in the company's administrative and business area, consolidating demands and projects, disseminating project information (objective, benefits, interdependencies, milestones, prioritization, control of deadlines, cost, quality and changes), developing and guaranteeing procedures and minimum documentation for project implementation;
• Plan the project phases, determining scope, cost, resources, effort, restrictions, risks and impacts and acting in the management of these projects when necessary to meet the agreed objectives, managing the main changes that may occur that may impact the organization's objectives ;
• Verify that customer needs are met as projects evolve
• Support interactions with business leaders to ensure communications and project delivery pace
• Analyze risks and opportunities within digital initiatives and the teams involved
• Monitor project progress and deal with issues that arise
• Act as a point of contact and communicate the status of the project to all participants
• Work with the Project Manager to eliminate roadblocks
• Control and monitoring of indicators and objectives of initiatives
• Support the construction of business cases and elaborate necessary controls for project monitoring, evaluating opportunities and impacts, mainly on resources (materials and people)
• Monitor the execution of projects, acting strongly with the project manager providing support, monitoring, control and execution of projects
• Build and support executive material for presentations to company leadership, detailing project status and business goals
• Interpret results and generate visualizations, analysis conclusions that build relevant stories and set of actions for the organization
• Sending reports of demands, deliveries and results
• Naturally disseminate via guidance, supervision and training in the use of project methodology and best practices
• Accountable for the results of a large and/or moderately complex project(s). Provides input on resource planning and policy development.
Impact & Dimentions:
Professional that will act focusing on South America, delivering projects mainly for SAM Crush Value Chain, but not limited.
Contributes/recommends policies/strategies in the Function and/or Department(s) short term strategy (1 year or less). Is recognized as an expert within the organization and has in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function. Projects/initiatives lead have impact on business on a domestic or international scale
Technical competencies:
• Understand the value and process generated by the business areas
• Ease of handling and using data to perform analysis and support better decisions
• Minimum technical knowledge of digital product development such as: technology, development teams, methodologies
• Monitoring and interpretation of data to build insights
• Focus on ensuring product/project deliveries
• High execution capacity
• Self-capacity to understand all stages of the product cycle, managing available time and team deliverables
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (agile or waterfall method)
• Experience building digital products using tools, solutions and methods for product development (design, sprints, UX, Tests, stories, etc.)
• Proactivity to learn any day-to-day knowledge gaps
• Learn to tolerate complex scenarios and ability to propose solutions and analyze data
• Willingness to perform active and multi-channel communication, regardless of hierarchical level
• Experience in the area in large companies, with a vision or methodology for projects of medium to great complexity or magnitude
• Good communication skills, ability to work and engage with remote teams
