What will you be doing as a Senior Manager Controlling (South Europe)

Coordinate the US GAAP reporting process in order to achieve GAAP compliant, consistent, accurate & timely F/S for the region.

This includes the monthly / quarterly / YE routines, as well as a strong work upstream with controlling & BBS teams in order to raise quality & alignment.

This should be completed through the following activities:

• US GAAP Financial Reporting: Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closes, ensuring US GAAP compliance, accuracy of financial statements, and monitoring/improving KPIs.
• Upstream Processes: Own and optimize end-to-end financial processes, driving automation and efficiency improvements.
• SOX, Internal Control: Ensure effective internal controls over financial reporting (SOX), manage SOX testing, and oversee remediation of deficiencies.
• Industrial Control: Oversee inventory and fixed asset management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and monitoring performance through KPIs.
• Local GAAP & Others: Ensure timely and accurate local statutory reporting and support other departments with financial data.
• People Management: Manage controlling team, focus on talent development, and foster cross-functional collaboration.

What do we expect from our future colleague:

• Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics. Qualified accountant or equivalent (ACCA, CPA, etc.) is a plus
• 8 - 10 years in progressive leadership roles across controlling / finance; agricultural commodity experience preferred.
• Expertise and experience working in controlling, US GAAP and SEC financial reporting roles; U.S. multinational experience desired.
• Experience and desire to work with cross functional business environments.
• Flexibility to prioritize multiple responsibilities and activities in high pressure situations.
