Are you a skilled Production Operator seeking an opportunity to work in an innovative, automated fractionation plant? Bunge Ghana is seeking a dedicated and diligent individual to join our team in Tema. This role offers an unique chance to gain specialized experience in the oil and fat industry while contributing to a dynamic production environment!

Role Purpose:

This role is essential to ensuring the optimized operation of our fractionation plant. The Production Operator will supervise and control the production process, maintain quality standards, and ensure efficient use of equipment while adhering to safety procedures.

Main Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with the Shift Supervisor to optimize fractionation plant operations.
• Monitor and maintain all process parameters within specified ranges during plant operation.
• Document process parameters and immediately report any deviations to the Shift Supervisor, assisting with corrective actions.
• Ensure timely collection and laboratory analysis of samples.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment according to housekeeping standards.
• Strictly adhere to and enforce plant safety regulations during operations.
• Monitor equipment performance and promptly report any malfunctions.
• Assist with tank farm operations as needed.

Your knowledge and skills:

• Troubleshooting and analytical skills for production problem-solving.
• Understanding of plant operations and equipment functionality related to production and safety.
• Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance (lubrication, seal/gasket replacement, pump strainer cleaning).
• Knowledge of SCADA systems.
• Ability to read and understand P&ID diagrams is a plus.
• Build strong working relationships, influence effectively, and foster teamwork.
• Get results through high standards, prioritization, organization, and change management.

Education & Experience:

• HND in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (Production Option) or Food Processing Engineering
• Minimum two years of experience in an industrial environment, with experience in the oil and fat industry preferred.

Working Conditions:

• 3 shifts: Morning (06:00 - 14:00), Afternoon (14:00 - 22:00), Night (22:00 - 06:00).
