In this role you will work closely with the supply chain team to coordinate back office activities in West Africa. This all to ensure smooth processing of all transactions and set up new operations in the region. The working location will be in Tema.

 

Main Accountabilities

  • Entering production, internal, and laboratory data from crushing sites into the system for inventory and quality tracking.
  • Verifying supplier invoices (transport) and associated documents at critical control points.
  • Coordinating with the finance team to confirm payment completion.
  • Monitoring production schedules and output from crushing sites in West Africa by cross-referencing various reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with transport standards like Fosfa, EU1, and Kosher.
  • Identifying supply shortages and coordinating with production planning and shipping teams based on pre-reserved capacity and stock/shipping simulations.
  • Reporting deviations from specifications and discussing corrective actions with the Logistics Officer Shea.
  • Liaising with the supply chain team in West Africa to improve raw material quality.
  • Calculating average prices based on sales to external processors and buyback rates.
  • Ensuring all supply chain documentation is accurately maintained according to company policies.
  • Collaborating with team members and sharing monthly reports with relevant collaborators.
  • Maintaining ERP data integrity and driving process improvements.
  • Preparing monthly stock consolidations and correcting data entry errors.
  • Providing data analysis across quality, logistics, and finance, while preparing tools to support decision-making.

 

Major Opportunities and Decisions

In this crucial role you will collaborate with various organizations to merge data flows into a single dashboard. This will help management analyze and make decisions based on the numerous data points and numbers. This role offers the chance to innovate existing processes and develop new methods for data visualization, which is essential for final decision-making.

 

Knowledge and Technical Proficiencies

  • Experience in the use of SAP is essential.
  • Affinity with reporting and Excel (MS Office in general).
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency in French will be an added advantage.

 

Education/Experience/other requirements:

  • Minimum BSc in Business Admin or related courses, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in supply chain-related administration activities.
  • Currently residing and eligible to work in Ghana.
