What you will be doing as a Refinery Chief – Thrace Plant
The prime purpose of the role is carrying out maintenance and repair activities of facility machinery and equipment, building and infrastructure installations.
Main accountabilities:
- Keeping the machinery and equipment in the required quality and working condition
- Carrying out development studies that increase production and reducing costs
- Taking part in the implementation of approved development studies and investments, providing the water, steam, and pressurized dry air that the enterprise needs
- Taking measures to eliminate bottlenecks and provide savings in these matters. The main activities of the company are to ensure the preparation, control and follow-up of documents related to its own sections of the quality management system, to keep quality control records and to ensure the continuation of the system, and to manage and control the refined oil tank parking areas
- Supports the Maintenance Manager in preparing daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance and repair plans and programs of machinery and equipment to maintain production uninterruptedly and in accordance with the schedule.
- It follows the developments in the facility's production
- Proposes and recommends the applicable ones to the Production Manager. It ensures the implementation of what has been approved.
- Finds solutions to technical problems encountered in the facility or carries out the necessary coordination and activities to find solutions.
- Identifies bottlenecks in production, carries out development studies to increase production and reduce costs, and puts the approved studies into practice.
- Takes measures to ensure optimum use of energy and minimization of energy and heat losses in order to ensure maximum energy savings
- In the refinery operation, it carries out the necessary initiatives, follow-ups and controls to ensure the receipt of raw materials, quality control, storage, processing, and compliance of the refined oil with the standards.
- Is responsible for ensuring occupational safety in the units and ensures that occupational safety issues are fully complied with.
What do we expect from our future colleague:
- University degree in food or chemical.
- Minimum 2 years of food production experience
- Knowledge about occupational risk assessment methodologies and techniques, safety culture and modern safety.
- Good command of both written and spoken English
- Very good knowledge of MS Office application
- Problem solving skills, planning and organization as well as analytical thinking capability (5S, RCA, 5 Whys etc.).
- Ability to work in a team and string interpersonal skills,
- Result oriented, ability to make decisions and influence others.
