Trade Contracts Specialist – Cairo, Egypt
Are you a detail-oriented contract professional who thrives on accuracy, structure, and collaboration? Do you enjoy working at the heart of commercial operations, ensuring that contract terms are correctly translated into practice?
At Bunge, we are looking for a Trade Contracts Specialist to join our team in Egypt. In this role, you will own and safeguard the accuracy and integrity of contracts across their lifecycle. You will act as a key control point, ensuring that contractual agreements are correctly reflected and aligned with pricing, invoicing, and related activities, in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
This role is focused on contract accuracy, compliance, and validation, while working in close coordination and alignment with commodity trade execution.
What you will do
- Review and validate commodity purchase and sales confirmations entered by traders into SAP.
- Ensure all contracts accurately reflect agreed commercial terms and contain complete and correct clauses.
- Validate contract pricing against agreed terms in close collaboration with trading and finance teams.
- Work closely with finance to verify invoicing accuracy and ensure alignment with contract conditions.
- Ensure consistency between contracts, pricing data, and supporting financial and operational documentation.
- Review contracts with field offices, brokers, and third-party counterparties.
- Generate and validate third-party sales contracts in internal systems.
- Confirm contracts with external counterparties in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor contract status in SAP and proactively follow up with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain and apply business rules governing contract structures and clauses.
- Act as a key control point, ensuring downstream activities remain aligned with contractual agreements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to operational excellence initiatives.
- Support knowledge sharing and onboarding within the team.
What you bring
Required
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in contract administration or a similar role within a commercial, finance, or supply chain environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management, with exposure to pricing and invoicing processes.
- Experience working with SAP (or similar ERP systems) — strongly preferred and highly beneficial given system complexity.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a structured way of working.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to reconcile and validate complex data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
Preferred
- Knowledge of FOSFA and/or GAFTA contracts.
- General knowledge of Incoterms is considered a plus.
- Experience in agricultural commodities, trading, or supply chain environments.
- Experience working in an international or multicultural organization.
How you’ll collaborate
- Act as a proactive intermediary between trading, finance, operations, and legal teams.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the resolution of contract-related, pricing, and invoicing queries.
- Ensure contracts are accurate, complete, and aligned across all involved functions.
