Role Purpose Statement
The purpose of this role is to ensure the stabilization and rigorous control of the business position in the domestic market. This includes an initial short-term stabilization phase focused on updating and validating the current position, followed by a long-term control phase aimed at ensuring daily operational accuracy and informed decision-making while minimizing deviations in costs, logistics, and contractual commitments.
Main Accountabilities
- Business Position Regularization and Control: Ensure strict control over daily operations, contracts, and inventory to provide an accurate and up-to-date view of the business position that supports strategic decision-making.
- Inventory Governance: Oversee and ensure full alignment between inventory records and the SAP system, collaborating closely with the Controlling and SOX teams to support quarterly closings and external audits while avoiding duplication of efforts.
- Interdepartmental Alignment and Reporting: Act as the operational link between the Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance teams. This includes re-establishing monthly reporting processes to analyze and explain variances between planned trading costs and actual execution costs.
- Contract and Execution Analysis and Control: Evaluate the status of all open contracts and provide insights that support commercial decision-making based on market conditions and contractual obligations.
- System and Criteria Unification (Domestic Market): Actively contribute to the migration, standardization, and optimization of existing systems (TTS, Servisoft, Excel, etc.) into SAP, with the primary objective of establishing SAP as the single source of truth for management and control while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of operational data.
Education & Experience
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience demonstrating extensive SAP expertise is an essential requirement. Experience in operational analysis, trading, supply chain, or inventory control roles is highly valued.
- Proficiency in reporting and data analysis tools (e.g., advanced Excel).
- Familiarity with operational management systems (TTS, Servisoft, etc.) to support system integration and standardization efforts.
