A Day in the Life

The Transport Insurance Admin Assistant will assist the vendor setup group with day-to-day business functions related to trucker insurance and their required documents.  In addition, this role will support special projects as we test and transition to new software and processes.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Updates on carrier insurance status and documentation.
  • Vet Truckers in Safer and Carrier411 for continued use by Bunge.
  • Contact insurance companies for necessary corrections to COI’s.
  • Review and research requests for possible duplicates.
  • Learn and effectively utilize all applicable operational systems.
  • Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with the business users.
  • Improve Bunge’s outcomes by making data-driven decisions, keeping the customer at the forefront of all they do and proactively gaining insight into the global strategy.
  • Ability to collaborate with effective communication skills.

 

 Skills / Experience Requirements:

  • High School diploma.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Commodity industry preferred.
  • Commodity software experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to work proficiently with Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis with Excel.
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills.
  • Experience with SharePoint and Adobe is helpful
