Temporary Labourer Summer Student

A Day in the Life: 

Reporting to the Production Supervisor this position is responsible for general labour duties including painting, general clean-up, manual labour, and yard work.

Position Details: 

• Employment Type: Temporary, Summer Position
• Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day (40 hours per week). Includes a daily 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
• Compensation: Starting at $21 per hour.

What You'll Be Doing: 

• Full knowledge and compliance with all Bunge safety policies and procedures 
• Painting as required throughout the facility and outside of the facility 
• General clean-up inside and outside of the facility 
• Yard maintenance
• Other duties as assigned

Skills/Experience Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 or GED, is preferred 
• Must be at least 18 years old 
• Enrolled in a post-secondary education program and returning to school in the fall, is preferred 
• Previous industrial experience is an asset 
• Has good mechanical aptitude 
• Self-starter and able to work individually and in a team 
• Able to work at heights
• Must be willing to work in all weather conditions

Commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system; and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
