Position Details:

This temporary summer student labourer position, reporting to the Production Supervisor, offers valuable hands-on experience and the opportunity to contribute to the efficient operation of our facility.

By investing in local students, we aim to provide meaningful employment and build a strong connection with the future workforce of our community.

This position involves a variety of general labour duties, contributing to the overall upkeep and improvement of our facility.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Adhering to all Bunge safety policies and procedures, demonstrating a commitment to a safe work environment.
  • Painting various areas of the facility, both interior and exterior, enhancing the appearance and preservation of our infrastructure.
  • Performing general clean-up tasks inside and outside the facility, maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Contributing to yard maintenance, creating a presentable and functional outdoor environment.
  • Undertaking other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support various operational needs.

 

Skills/Experience Requirements:

  • This position would be ideal for a student who are local to the Wainwright area.
  • Current enrollment in a post-secondary institution with plans to return to school in the fall is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma (Grade 12 or GED) preferred.
  • Previous industrial experience is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is beneficial
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions, highlighting adaptability and resilience.
