Overview:
The Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls to protect enterprise systems, applications, and data. This role partners closely with global security, IT, and business teams to ensure risks are managed effectively while enabling business operations across the region.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls across infrastructure, cloud, applications, and endpoints.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents in coordination with global SOC and IR teams.
• Implement security tooling including SIEM, EDR, AV, and cloud security platforms.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and remediation activities.
• Support security architecture reviews and ensure solutions align with enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with IT and application teams to embed security into system design and DevSecOps processes.
• Maintain security documentation, standards, and procedures.
• Provide regional security expertise and act as a liaison with global cybersecurity teams.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering or security operations.
• Strong knowledge of network, endpoint, cloud, and application security.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management and firewalls.
• Understanding of threat frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK) and incident response practices.
• Experience supporting compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Fluency in English.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+, or cloud security certifications.
• Experience working in a global or matrixed organization.
• Familiarity with automation, scripting, or SOAR platforms.
• Experience securing OT/ICS or industrial environments is a plus.
