Overview:
In this role, the individual not only leads the UX/UI team with a focus on exceptional user experiences but also actively supports the path to Customer Experience (CX) excellence. By implementing cutting-edge design strategies and staying current with industry trends, they contribute to creating top-notch, modern designs. Responsibilities encompass shaping design strategies, conducting user research, collaborating cross-functionally, and maintaining a cohesive design language across products and platforms. This commitment ensures a competitive edge in user experience, fostering brand loyalty and contributing to organizational success.


Essential Functions

  • Lead and mentor the UX/UI design team, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture in organization.
  • Ensure design and user experience consistency across platforms by supporting the roadmap of the customer journey.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive UX/UI design strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and user needs.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform and validate design decisions throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, translating concepts into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design elements into the final product.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent design language and style guide across all digital platforms and products.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to continuously enhance the user experience.
  • Oversee the user interface implementation process, providing support and guidance to development teams for pixel-perfect execution.
  • Advocate for user-centric design principles within the organization, emphasizing the importance of user feedback and iterative design processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business objectives, and align design solutions with the overall brand strategy.
  • Conduct regular design reviews and critiques to ensure high-quality and cohesive design output from the team.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple design projects/initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables meet or exceed quality expectations.
  • Drive the evolution and improvement of design processes, tools, and methodologies within the UX/UI team. Develops and implements short to mid-term (1-3 years) talent optimization plans to execute strategies in the job area


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic, Digital, or Media Design or a related field is essential, ideally from a Top University    
  • Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in User Experience with minimum od 3 years of leading the team of the designers
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing User Experience and initiatives.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse departments.
  • Proficiency in customer experience platforms and digital collaboration tools proficiency in Figma is a must
  • Experience with project management and design thinking methodologies.
  • Certification or post-graduate studies from UX will be additional benefit
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, Figma, or other relevant software.
  • Possessing a deep understanding of usability principles and best practices to guide the design process toward creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Having the ability to plan, conduct, and analyze user research activities, including usability testing, surveys, and interviews, to gather actionable insights.
  • Having a foundational understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate effective collaboration with development teams.
  • Ensuring seamless integration of design solutions with front-end development, collaborating closely with developers to bridge the gap between design and implementation.
