Intern

To support daily production operations and assist production engineers in administrative and operational tasks, while gaining practical exposure to plant processes, equipment, and safety standards.

Main Accountablitity 

• Support daily production operations, including STO creation, tank arrangement and scheduling, and routine inspection of equipment conditions.
• Perform housekeeping activities and assist in implementing and maintaining 5S standards within designated areas
• Assist production engineers with administrative tasks, including preparation of critical task matrices, development of Standard
• Work Instructions (SWIs), visual management tools, and DWOR documentation.
• Support maintenance-related activities, including work order creation, MDG setup, quotation sourcing, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in monitoring manpower deployment and ensuring product quality meets required standards.
• Collaborate with plant operators and supervisors by working in shift operations, ensuring adherence to safe plant operation practices.

Requirement 

• Diploma and above in Bachelor Degree in Chemical / manufacturing/ Mechanical/ Engineering or relevant
• Demonstrate positive attitude and good attendance record 
• Able to write in Malay and English
• Able to communicate in Malay and English
• Familiarity with food safety systems such as HACCP, FSSC 22000, GMP, and Halal requirements
• Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs)
• Understanding of production processes and plant operations (for production interns)
• Ability to perform data collection and basic data analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of 5S and continuous improvement principles
• Basic awareness of maintenance processes, work orders, and equipment checks
• Familiarity with documentation control and record-keeping requirements
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices in a manufacturing environment
