Role Purpose Statement In this position, you are part of the Cotton Global Trading Team. You are reporting to Director Trading Cotton, China and supporting the team's global cotton physical/future trading activities in China, your role covers mainly three areas, namely, research, trading and marketing. 
　
　
　
Main Accountabilities • Build and maintain China cotton SnD forecast, price scenarios, weather impacts, policy changes, mill consumption monitoring and macroeconomic drivers to support trading and risk management decisions.
• Set the research agenda, prioritize analytical initiatives, and ensure high quality, timely deliverables for cotton global trading team. Continuously refine research workflows, data pipelines, and modeling methodologies to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Align research outputs with commercial/marketing needs and trading opportunities of ZCE cotton futures and options under the direction of cotton global strategic trading desk.
• Enhance sales networks by adding new clients or expanding sales volume to certain clients. 
　
　
　
　
　
　
Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree of Science or Technology is required; Master degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in commodity research or global supply and demand modeling, with a strong preference for cotton or fiber markets. Deep understanding of global cotton supply chains, production cycles, trade flows, and policy influences.
• Physical trading/marketing and futures trading experience is required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage complex analytical projects translate complex research into actionable insights for cotton global trading team.
