Role Purpose Statement

Understanding what the customer’s needs is and holding the IT team accountable and working in a collaborative environment are the Delivery streams pillars to deliver information solutions to Industrial Operation/I4.0.

End to End accountability means owning the entire delivery of a business solution from start to finish.

The main activities are:

• Solution roadmaps
• Investment portfolio
• Demand driven and aligned with Operations units.
• Working with Customer/Client;
• Project management and delivery for all projects under his responsibilities
• Application development and transition to support.
• Business process subject matter expertise.
• Total cost of delivery.
• Business Process Knowledge and understanding
• IT Architecture involvement

One of the key challenges of the Project Services activity is driven best practices and common approaches (aligned with global and regional practices and standards) across all initiatives and projects that Project Services staff is engaged in. 

The System Integrator is a key role to deliver the projects achievements.

Main Accountabilities

• System Integrator reports into a Project Services and will be responsible for delivery the projects for Industrial Operations area. The role’s responsibilities include the management of all project capabilities which in general are: Work with Business, Developers, Architects, and many others to ensure the delivery of quality products on time and within budget.
• This role is responsible for all aspects of delivering the project including scope, schedule and deliverables and has regular interaction with client leadership and Program Management
• Drive sign-offs and closures on deliverables
• Should contribute to business development activities like proposal responses and presentations, should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills - should deliver client presentations, internal presentations and conduct knowledge sharing sessions etc.
• Responsible for handling multiple projects with different technologies (SAP, Dassault, OSI soft, Siemens, .Net,  etc)
• Involved in projects from initial phase to closure of projects.
• Involved in preparing proposals as and when required.
• Involved in reviewing functional & technical documents on timely basis.
• Compiles status from team and keeps project status documents up to date.
• Proactive, assertive, good at planning, execution and control
• Degree of Guidance: Manages own work with responsibility for elevating issues as necessary to the appropriate management team member. Manages external resources (consultants) assigned to the project.
• Participation in Decision Making: Responsible for elevating issues related to project scope, incremental funding or significant timeline changes

Education / experience / skills

• University degree
• Specialization Desirable (pos-graduation)
• English required (Intermediate)
• Spanish is desirable
• More than 2 years of experience in similar job
• Ability to work in multiple cultures
• PMI certification desirable

Functional Skills

• High level of Project Management
• Knowledge of financial concepts (Budgeting, Budget tracking, Project evaluation)
• Score Card and Key Performance Indicator concepts
• Vendor problem management, vendor technical resource management and collaboration
• Balances progress against technical risk, interpersonal stress, IT project impact and contingencies
• Communicating implications to IT partners           
• Effective in presenting technically and conceptually as appropriate at all levels in the organization
